Before you fly

What if my flight is delayed?

Nothing changes on your end. Give us your flight number when you request and we track it — if you're two hours late, your driver is there two hours later, at the same confirmed price. No rebooking, no fee, no standing at the curb wondering.

How do I find my driver at the airport?

Before you land, you'll have your driver's name, photo of the vehicle and phone number on WhatsApp. After baggage claim, walk out through arrivals and your driver will be waiting with a sign with your name on it. If you can't spot them, message us — we're watching the same flight you are.

What is the cancellation policy?

Free cancellation up to 24 hours before your pickup time — just send us a WhatsApp message. Inside 24 hours, tell us what's happened; flights get cancelled and plans collapse, and we'd rather keep you as a customer than keep a fee.

How and when do I pay?

Nothing is paid when you send a request. We confirm your ride and your exact price with you personally on WhatsApp first — then you can pay online by card in US dollars, or pay your driver directly; the price is the same either way. The price we confirm is the price you pay: tolls, taxes and luggage included.

Is the price per person or per car?

Per car, always. The "from" prices on this page cover a private car for up to 4 passengers with standard luggage. Bigger group or extra bags? Tell us in the booking notes and we'll quote the right vehicle — still one fixed price, confirmed up front.

Are your drivers licensed and insured?

That's the whole point of MBJ Rides. Before a driver takes their first booking with us, we check their Jamaican transport licence and insurance documents and photograph their vehicle. The transfer itself is provided by your licensed local driver — MBJ Rides is the booking channel that vets them, confirms your price and stays on WhatsApp with you until you're dropped off.

Can I request a return trip or extra stops?

Yes — choose "round trip" in the request builder and add your return date in the notes. Grocery stops, a pharmacy run or a scenic detour on the way to your hotel can usually be added for a small fixed amount, confirmed in the same chat.
